What country are we living in?
A San Diego University sophomore being told to remove the American flag from his balcony, because it might offend some of the foreign students living in the same apartment complex.
Brad Smith, who had just moved into the Boulevard 63 apartment complex in San Diego last month, told ABC 10 News that he received a written notice to remove the flag a few days ago.
We were then told that it was for political reasons and that the flag could offend foreign people that live here, foreign exchange students, Smith said. Ive had friends and family fight to defend that flag.
While Smiths lease agreement with the apartments management does have a clause that says no signs or other personal propertymay be kept outside the premises, attorney Christian Curry told ABC. that the clause comes close to infringing on First Amendment rights.
Ive got a great idea: if the American flag offends you and youre living in American soil, feel free to go right back to the hell hole you came from. We dont need ingrates here who thumb their noses at this great nation. And we have even less use for demented liberal creeps who encourage anti-American sentiment, like the management of this apartment complex.
If you agree, you can (respectfully) contact the Boulevard 63 management toll free at 877.219.0726 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
UPDATE: Thanks to your emails and phone calls, the management have clarified their policy, and may allow the flag. We will stay on top of this and keep you informed. Meanwhile keep those emails and phone calls coming.
